This video shares why I started Encounter: the story behind it, and a struggle I found in my own Bible study small group that started it all.
Recorded before the September beta. The beta has since concluded, and the app is scheduled to release December 1, 2026.
The heart in brief
Encounter started from a struggle in my own Bible study small group.
It’s a Scripture study tool, but the heart behind it matters more than the features.
Very few Christians read Scripture daily, even those deeply involved in church life.
A deeper relationship with Jesus is on the other side of searching Scripture.
Features like accountability partners and structured reading plans help you fall in love with Scripture.
